Marangu waterfalls are one of the biggest and most popular waterfalls in the Kilimanjaro Region. The waterfall is situated on the slope of Mount Kilimanjaro, home to the authentic Chagga tribe. Its water source comes directly from the glacier on top of Kilimanjaro. About 30 minutes' drive from Moshi town and 2 ½ to 3 hours from Arusha, you can reach it by walking through coffee and banana farms surrounded by lush scenery. This is where this waterfall is found. A 30-minute walk through the stunning green landscape of Chagga land will lead us to this huge waterfall, where we can swim in the refreshing water and take a break for lunch.
